everytime a customer trys to log into any secure web site in either internet explorer or netscape he gets a page cannot be displayed. We have checked security settings, cache, has 128 bit encryption. this has only happened since he has upgraded to win XP. Have any answers let me know.
Be sure the customer isnt running a proxy server or cache/proxy server such as Squid. If he is (to share the net) he will almost definately need to instruct the application to open the SSL ports, else he will get errors. Most proxy's will block the SSL ports by default for security reasons, so they may need to be 'allowed'.
If not, its something to do with his browser or his host's DNS.
