[Chrome, although probably other browsers too]
This is a problem that has recently been happening very often (about 1-2 times a day) for me.
So basically, I'm happily surfing on the internet and all, until suddenly when I try to load new pages, it gives me a "page not found" error. However, the strangeness does not stop there. When I am on my gmail, for instance, I can still access my email, and I can actually talk to other people! I can even edit various google docs that I have already opened. But the one thing I cannot do is to open new pages.
Restarting my computer typically temporarily fixes the problem, but I'm interested in a solution that ideally permanently fixes this problem, but a tempfix that is less of a hassle than performing a full restart would be nice too.
When I pinged google.com, it successfully reached there with no packets lost.
