I got a virus last week so I activated the free trial of Norton Internet Security 2009 on my laptop. It didn't find the virus, and the firewall was messing with some of my programs so I tried uninstalling it. The virus was making it so nothing executed properly, and therefore the program did not fully uninstall.

I am trying to run system restore to remove the virus, but it won't work thanks to the program (it says restore did not complete, probably due to antivirus software)

So I tried deleting the program manually from C:, and it says I need administrators permission. I went on the hidden admin account and it still didn't let me. I tried modifying the permissions of the program and it wouldn't let me change it so that users can delete the files.

I tried deleting it from CMD and it said the file cannot be found. I deleted it from the registry but that wasn't good enough.

I NEED to get this stupid program off my computer, can anyone help??
