im having this problem..

i have TP link wifi AP/hub "WR641G/642G v3 08140201" with firmware version
"3.7.2 Build 071123 Rel.38867n"
it is supposed to support 108mbps wifi network on 802.11G network..... in my desktop i have wifi card of D-link DWA-520 with stock drivers which is supposed to be 108G adapter.....and my network is WPA secured network with TKIP encryption.
im using vista ultimate 64 bit

here is the problem what im facing.....

in tp link AP configuration menu.... if i set the wifi network to 108G dynamic.... my pc connects to this network at 54mbps and not 108... and if i set my Ap to 108 G static than my desktop doesnt detect the network at all.....

both are supposed to be 108g enabled devices n yet they dont function on tht speed..... and there is no option in d-link wifi card software for pc to make it connect on 108G only..... rather there is no advanced setting in its software at all...

can anyone help me in figuring out how to make these 2 connect at 108mbps connection?

Well, the "turbo" speeds that are added to 802.11g are typically brand specific, so with two different brands of hardware, I wouldn't expect you'll get more than the standard 54mbit connections.
