Cannot access MS Update site

Whenever I try to access the Microsoft Update site, it gives an error as if it had no internet access. although I can access any other website. The strangest part is that I have seen this on 3 seperate PCs fom 3 seperate unrelated environments. I have ran Malwarebytes, AVG, Super AntiSpyware, CCleaner, etc. but nothing corrects this issue. I have not found any solutions on the internet. Has anyone else seen this recently? Could it still be a virus?

Use this URL:http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
If it doesn't work, try manual update via Microsoft Support. Make sure the Update site isn't in your blocked list.

As well as above mentioned, I would also try installing and running Spybot S&D
