i cannot access my hard drive , cause some one has messed with the sharing that i caanot access it from my computer, i can see it in system information, in storage, the in disks. but i cannot get into to cause the dang sharing, plz help thanks alot

Hello,

How many users are on your system? Are we talking about Quota Sharing? Can you post a screenshot off what appears when you try to access the hard drive.

Go to Start/Run and type diskmgmt.msc and press enter. In Disk Management do you see your drive there? Attach a screen shot.

It shows your HDD as Unallocated Space. Something has happened to the file system. You can try some free software recovery tools Recuva, and TestDisk but These usually only work if the drive is showing in the My Computer, but try them first. I have had great luck with GetDataBack NTFS. Download the Free Trial and it will show you what files it can recover. You will need to pay them to actually recover your files.
