Hey any one plz tell me .....can we change/rename the option name...which are open .....when we right click on any folder....like (open,edit,open with....etc....) I want to rename that open,edit...etc....


is there any way .......to rename the menuitems..........


plz help me out............:wave:

menu items, like the things under the File option?

like new, open, save as..

i dont know why you would want to, but they are written into windows/the program itself...so decompile and rewrite if you want.

No doubt maybe tweakUI or winboost might let you, but you would have to find out

If you're talking about the right-click menu (also called context menu) when you right-click on some file or folder then you can change some of the actions if you go to windows explorer => tools => folder options => file types. Select the type you want to edit the actions for (like folder for instance) and click on advanced. Be careful with what changes you do there, backup your registry with erunt before you make any changes.

TweakUI (link on the right), as PaddyN suggested, will allow you to create/remove entries in the right-click => new menu (use the templates tab).

You can make more changes if you edit the related registry entries. Again, careful with the changes you make there.
