If you have a Windows Vista disc, you can boot off of the disc and choose Repair Your Computer. Once it fails the repair enter the RE (Recovery Environment) here choose Command Prompt. Here type chkdsk /R and press enter. Now type a Y and manually restart the computer. The Check Disk Utility will try and fix any file errors.
