I know these are totally stupid question, but i'm not too hot on this stuff, this is not in my computers documentation and when trying to find out information from google etc many websites just assume that I have the knowledge of what this stuff means.

This is my system:

System Type X86-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E1200 @ 1.60GHz, 1603 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. PBDV10.P17, 08/04/2008
SMBIOS Version 2.5
Page File Space 1.10 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys

What I want to know is, what is an x86 system?
Because it is dual core does that mean the Ghz comes to 3.2 Ghz?
on an unrelated note, what is a pagefile.sys?
Can I tell what the make and the manufacturer is of my motherboard from my BIOS?

32 bit system

no it does not work that way

pagefile/windows keeps items there for faster access

you can use this to see what you have in the system along with a lot more information
