Can receive but not send

My internet had limited connectivity and the default gateway was blank. I entered it and the DNS server. When I did that I could receive but cannot send packets, so I still cannot use the internet. I have reset and unplugged everything and still cannot use it. I have a wireless router and am using a cord from it. This laptop works fine but my desktop does not. What else can I do?

Hello and Welcome to TSF!

Let's verify something from your computer. Is this a Wired or Wireless issue?

Please locate the Network Adapters from your Device Manager and see if there's any Symbols (?, ! or X).

Also, please check out all the connections of your Devices (router & modem) if they are plugged in to the correct ports by following this link.
