Hello

I have Outlook installed on PC1 on a network and am happy with the results. However, if I install Outlook on my colleagues pc, can I set the same .pst folder on both computers?

Outlook on PC1 would check online messages and download to the inbox. The PC2 inbox would then be automatically updated as it shares the same folder. If PC2 replied to a message in the inbox (or deleted it) I would notice this change on PC1.

I have heard of Microsoft Exchange but don't use it currently - not sure exactly how it works. I use Outlook as primarily as an email client.

Practical, Possible? If not possible, which email software would you recommend in this instance? There are only 3 of us in the office, and share one email address.

Thanks in advance,

Hi phubeone,

thanks for the input.

I have been looking more at ms exchange, but this doesn't seem to be what we need. All we need is some email client software that works in mutliple instances so we can share the downloaded folders.

We are all in the same office so don't need an online server to store messages.

Any ideas?
thansk,
