I can not paste or copy either into the browser itself or to programs such as Word. I use Chrome most of the time, but it happens e Explorer too. I know little about computers, but can follow directions well. I use this feature often and I am very frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.

when did this start happening ? did you download or install a software?

have you tried keyboard hotkeys ?

ctrl + c - copy
ctrl + v - paste

anything else besides copy and paste you found not working like they should?
