should be no problem upgrading your memory but take anti static precautions first.The memory in the panel on the back usually with 4 screw's be very careful and make sure any clips at each side of the memory are release before you remove the old one...replace with the new one and orientate correctly make sure it is fit in and use the clips to retain it. One thing don't use a lot of force. put the back back on and reboot your PC.
