I accidently clicked yes to one of those "do you want Windows to save your password?" prompts.

I'm curious if there's anything in the Options menu or anything (I kinda already searched through options) that I can ....say...take that password of the saved password list, or however Windows stores it

That's all I needed help with. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi nickdaddyg,

there's a few ways to do this:

Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Clear Passwords -> OK -> OK -> OK

This will clear the entire list so if you have lots of passwords you do want to save, it may be best to try editing the registry to remove only the password you want, but this way you will need some password encryption tools to make sure you get the right one.

You need to locate the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

On the right hand side of the window are you passwords, all encrypted. Simpy crack the password using those encyption tools and delete the correct DWORD value.

Hope that helps..

p.s - If you aren't too comfortable editing the registry, make sure you back up any keys before deleting or editing them :)

There is a much easier way than that. When the computer gives you an option of which user name to select. Select the right one and press the " DELETE" Button. Then it will erase just that information.
