My new comp has win7 which i like just fine. However, my version of Adobe Creative Suite (CS3) is not compatible with Win7. I'm not about to spend the $ to upgrade when CS3 is all I need.

Can I load XP and Win7 on the same comp? I've done it with Linux/XP but two MS products???

How best to do it?

Can't do XP then Win7 as I don't have OS disks (just the restore partition on my comp - I didn't build this one.)

Never used Virtual PC. How difficult? stable? problematic? would XP be in that application?

Any other options?

Your posts are confusing, you stated this

Can I load XP and Win7 on the same comp? I've done it with Linux/XP but two MS products???
But then you said this

Can't do XP then Win7 as I don't have OS disks (just the restore partition on my comp - I didn't build this one.)
So Im reading that you want to install Win7 onto the drive with XP already installed? ??? :4-dontkno

Anywho, This will show you how to install Windows 7 and XP to dual boot with when you already have either Windows 7 or XP installed first.

Thanks TJ,

I want to install XP on adrive that already has Win7. I have a full version XP disk but not a Win7 disk. So I have to keep the Win7 then proceed with XP but can't do it the other way around.

I'll try the method in your link.
