I had to uncheck that box saying "hide important files" so thats why im posting, because when i scan when it get to the file on the right, its 3.5GB and it takes like an hour litrally just to scan that 1 file. Please help.

The folder is used as a recycle bin for each user. You can delete it safely by opening a command prompt and typing rd /s C:\recycler. Windows will recreate the file the next time you reboot or delete something.

I don't see why it should take that long to scan that folder though. I'm sure there is an option to exclude it from scans if you want.

That's why I tell people to stay away from Mcafee and Norton, however, I'm sure even Mcafee has an option to let you do custom scans.
