The folder is used as a recycle bin for each user. You can delete it safely by opening a command prompt and typing rd /s C:\recycler. Windows will recreate the file the next time you reboot or delete something.

I don't see why it should take that long to scan that folder though. I'm sure there is an option to exclude it from scans if you want.

Thanx that helped loads, i think thats why people call it mcrapee cos you can't do things like that ^^ there arent many variations you can change in virusscan. Thanx anyways :laugh:
