hi evry body my hard disk was fallen down from my hand & after this .when i install it i hear a strange sound from the hard disk & can't read any partation in the hard disk i think that the problem in the media any one can tell me what i can do ??! .. thnx :sad: :sayno:

Hard drives are very delicate, so if it was working before you dropped it, it's probably damaged beyond repair, especially with the strange sound you're hearing. Is it a loud whirring sound?

Invest into another HDD.
If there is data on the drive, the only way you will be able to recover it would be to send it off to a data recovery center.

you can try testing the hdd with the diagnostics utility from the manufacturer's website but im with the other people, it got damage when you dropped it.

When you drop hard disks, they normally break. This should not come as a surprise. :smile:
