Hi guys,

I just want to ask a simple question. I think I have about 100 or so damaged files on my hard drive, which are all videos captured by Zoom. When I try to open them, the file does not open, or just opens for a few seconds, showing a thumbnail image which I used in online teaching. I was wondering if a trojan or a virus could alter the creation date of each of these files? I had a problem at university because these files were captured/recorded by Zoom starting from April 6 till the end of May 2020 and all of these files, as I am told, have been created in one day and probably modified in one day. I have more then 100 videos, each of them lasting about 40 minutes, and cannot be registered to be created in one day. I believe they have have either been damaged in copying (cutting and moving to another hard drive), by a virus or a trojan. What do you think about the likelihood of this happening? Do viruses or trojans have the capability to do this?

Thank you in advance.
