Re: Can’t use my broadband connection after setting up wifi router. Please Help.

Hi,

It sounds like you just need to do a power cycle. To do that just follow these instructions:

First shutdown your computer. Next unplug the power cable from the back of the router and modem.

Second let everything sit for 1 to 2 minutes.

Third, plug the modem back in to the power cord. Let it power all the way up. Next plug the router back in, and let it power back up.

Last turn you computer on. Let it also power up. Next you will need to connect to a network. To do this you will need to make sure that your wifi is turned on. It usually turns on automatically, or there should be a switch to turn on.

After it is turned on you will see an icon near the clock that you can click on and then choose a network from. Once you are connected to a network open your browser and see what happens.

Cheers!

Second, you say that you can't connect with your main pc when the router is plugged in. I did a little looking and here are the supported OS's for their routers.
• Support OS
Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/NT/MacOS/UNIX,
all OS support TCP/IP standard
I think you should look and see if your manual talks about what OS's are supported.

Cheers!
