i installed CoD: WaW on my PC a couple of days ago, but it takes ages to start and conect to servers online and load levels,

Celeron D are meant for every day work and not for games
do you have any new games similar to COD WAW and are they slow?

i agree fully. if there are other games that run the same, it means ur processor needs to be changed.

Hmmm well i downloaded the CoD : 4 demo and that ran fine.... anyway what CPU would you recomend for CoD WaW (one that isnt too expensive = ]) and will any CPU fit into my eMachines E3048 ?

Its an emachines, its not going to upgrade well. You should think about these things as new

you can take off the side case of your desktop and look at the stickers on your PSU, all the info you need are written on it
we need the Wattage (W) and the amps (A) only under the 12V
