Hey all !

Like 5 days ago i got a new graphics card because my old 9800GT died so now i have a 9800GT green edition.
Since my new card is in my pc my monitor goes on sleep mode while im playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer but i still can hear sounds of the game, after that i need to reboot to get back to my desktop.
And with my old card i never had this problem.
And this only happens with MW2 and not with other games because i played Metro 2033 on highest settings and it runs awesome no problems at all.

Can some one please help me because im getting nuts of this problem !

PSU: 400W
ASUS M3A78 motherboard
Processor: AMD Phenom 8650 Triple-core proccesor 2.30 Ghz
4 GB RAM
Graphics card: Club 3d Nvidia 9800 GT green edition 512mb GDDR3
Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster T200 20''

upon opening Mw2 please reset all the video settings.

there is a chance that mw2 changed the settings due to the replacement of the video card.

specifficaly check the resolution settings usually a monitor goes to stand by when the resolution settings are to high

OK thanks ill try it maybe it works but when i had my previous 9800GT i played on the same settings and nothing happend.
But ill try thanks !

Hello Neopath welcome to TSF

Now when you say 9800GT Green Edition do you mean eco friendly? Because if so, go to start, control panel, hardware and sound, power options, change settings and it will say turn off display usually every 10 minutes. Set it to never.
