So i just got my new computer and it has an SSD of 120gb. now the designers mistakenly set this to be C drive and the downloads folder is on there. along with some other stuff that i installed without watching. so i'm looking to make the SSD my C drive so this won't happen.
Edit: I don't mind that windows and the downloads folder and what not are on that drive. so that can stay, i'll just get rid of the other things that are there. however problem still stands.

I think I know what you mean but your statement doesn't make any sense,
So, As Kendallt said, Windows and Program Files (x86) and Program Files will be on the C: drive. However, you can move your personal files to another drive, either internal or an External drive (eg) Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Music etc. Open File Explorer, browse to C:\Users\[YourUserName] right click each of the above User folders and choose Properties. go to Location tab and choose what drive you want these folders to be stored on.

I figured that, but you didn't mention another drive in the OP, you just said C: drive twice. the suggestions in post #2 and #3 should be able to help you.

Since Program Files and Program Data are on "c" drive I doubt you will get anything to default from an install to another drive but you can choose the other drive letter normally on each install if you just look carefully.
