i need to buy 512 more ram. i have 512 MB (DDR2-400 DDR2 SDRAM) and a dell dimension 4700. i was wondering, where should i buy more ram?

Do the "crucial memory online scan" and it will show you a list of RAM accepted by your mobo. Also see your motherboard manual for whats compatible and not.

You don't have to buy from Dell. Its whats compatible with the motherboard that matters.
