OK, im thinking of buying some new ram for overclocking my san diego 3700, currently i have Kingmax PC3500 SuperRAM 433Mhz 1GB (2 x 512Mb) Dual Channel, and im thinking of buying OCZ PC4000 EL 2x512 MB DDR Dual Channel Gold Series Voltage Extreme (1GB Kit),

two questions

1. WIll there be a noticable difference in overclocking,

2. And to do with ram timings, when i insert the new ram, what will the timings be set to, will the motherboard choose the timings depending on the ram, or does every motherboard have a default ram timing list, and you have to physicly change them yourself, because the ram says its capable of 2-2-2, and at the moment i believe my ram is 2.5-3-3-6or7
