I'm about to buy a monitor. But can't decide between this two :sigh:

Asus MS208D 20" (129,00 USD)

AOC E2243FWs 21.5" (163,99 USD)

..How big does it feel the difference between 20" and 21.5"?..
I would go for Asus one if it was 21.5" too, but AOC looks alright too.
The thing that I don't like about aoc's monitor is that it's cable ports aren't on the monitor but on its stand instead. :4-dontkno

I haven't handled either, but I recall I was considering that ASUS one before and read some reviews that it wasn't very good. I think the stand was a bit flimsy and the ability to change the viewing angle was a bit limited. Could be wrong, read some reviews on both and see what seems to fit your needs best.

You won't see a huge difference between the two sizes, as long as both are high resolution (1920x1080) they'll likely seem almost the same size.

thank you :)
I checked again and ..Asus' monitors resolution is 1680x900.. so I just forget about it.

AOC is [email protected] but does not support HDMI. How important is hdmi?
and the last question :p both are led and what would I lose if I buy a non led lcd instead?

What are the prices on those two?
Do you need/want HDMI?

I believe the biggest difference is power consumption, LED consumes less power.

For a PC monitor, HDMI isn't overly important. HDMI has the same picture quality capability as DVI, but carries the sound data all in one cable. If your display does not have speakers connected directly to it, carrying that data is pointless, and you might as well just use the DVI. HDMI is more useful for TV's.

Here's a 23" in that price range that's pretty nice.

thanks for help,

I bought AOC's one.
Its viewing angles aren't perfect but, very good, and it looks great.
I was going to buy LG E2250V It's just..perfect. all stocks were ended wherever i checked, and then i thought the difference wouldn't be that much between this two monitors.

Just weird.. when I bought this (aoc razor), I read the specs like 1920x1080 @ 60hz. But I can use it on 70hz and I can easily see the difference. how?
