i have installed CorelVideo studio12 on my windows xp and i can capture from camera, edit etc., but i cannot get it to burn to disc. i get a message saying 'the disc is full or there is no disc in the deck'.

Can you "see" the dvd burner in My Computer?
Are there any errors in the Device Manager?
Can you Burn DVD's with another burning program (ex. Nero, Roxio)
