Building a new PC

My present to me from Christmas is a new computer. I've just started buying parts for it! But I can only buy a part/pay check

I just got my CPU in! An AMD XP1700 from what I've read and figured out at http://www.overclockers.com should be "over clockable" to 2.0+Ghz! ... for $51.00 from http://www.newegg.com. I also bought a 1yr. Warranty on the CPU for an extra $5.

Yesterday I used a gift card at BestBuy and spent an extra $1.86 on an Antec Cooling Fan/Heatsink for the chip.

I'm planning on Red Hat Linux 8.0 on the new PC.
