its kinda obvious what he is saying if you know pc parts.

1 x PLACA BASE ASUS AM2 M2V = a motherboard

1 x PROCESADOR AMD ATHLON AM2 6400 (3,2GHZ) 64 BIT IN BOX = a cpu

1 x CAJA SEMITORRE ATX450W PHONEIX *****-PLATA
(CAJA=Box
SEMITORRE= torre means tower, semi is semi.
***** is Black
Plata is Silver) this is obviously a case with a power supply.most cases that come with power supplies normally i wouldnt get.because the power supplies that come with most cases are junk.

to answer another of your questions that amd 6400 is not a quad core.that is a dual core.

personally if i was you id let the hardware tech's here on this forum put you a build together.but they will need to know a few things.what are you gonna use this pc for?what is your budget?

here look at this its a complete list of what they need to know to help you.

Well, it looks like you could get that all (or similar) for about (or under) US$600...but I don't know market differences. It looks like a dual core AMD chip (AMD and Intel are x86 chipmakers), not a quad core. Right now Intel has the advantage in the high end, while AMD offers good value in the middle and low end chips. I wouldn't expend much high performance gaming out of this machine...I would classify this as a lower end machine without much room for future upgrades.

I'd listen to pharoah...knowing what you need to do with it helps determine specs...
Keep in mind I am in spain getting parts from the USA can be difficult.

Budget: I am not on a budget but at the same time I dont want to overdo it.

Brands: I have no Preference on brand.

Multitasking: I tend to Play Music or Videos at same time while playing high performance games.

Gaming: I play as many high performance games as I can currently im looking at Age of Conan.

Calculations: I might use it to do my homework :D except for that I dont even know what Media Encoding is.

Overclocking: No and I dont know what that means. A short Internet search tells me its increasing power beyond the manufacturers Spec.

Storage: I dont need much space I would be happy with 300ish. External hardrives would do the rest.

Legacy Support: I doubt it.

Operating System: I want Vista but Ive been told that Xp is alot better I was thinking Getting Vista on my comp and then parallel running it with the Xp that came with my old one.

Case: I need to know where I can get some awsome looking cases that will not cost a tonne and be avaliable in spain.

Accessories: No, just a tower

Recycled Components: Only my keyboard, mouse, external hardrive.

Monitor: I have a Sony 32" LCD TV as my monitor.

Stores: IF anything I would say Amazon, Dell but anything official will satisfy my parents.

Location: Spain, Andalucia (South)

I took a while to read a site on System computers so I know what stuff like (PCI express, SATA, AM2 and such) means.
Oh and I would Appreciate You guys putting a Build together for me keeping in mind that I am trying to keep it resonably prices.
I have been looking at some things and now i want to know some things.

The whole Intel Vs AMD thing.
IS it a good idea to get a quad core processor?
Which is better the AMD one or the intel one?
In terms of price-performance.
For gaming Intel is ahead of AMD. Go with Intel.
