I'm thinking its about time for a new comp but I'm not 100% sure what to get. I am going to be making it with new and used parts and it will mainly be used for 3D modeling and a bit of gaming aswell as general home use (internet, work, etc.). I want the option to improve it every now and then without having to replace everything.

The parts I have already have (bought recently for my old computer are):
ATI HIS Radeon X1650 pro
Creative sound blaster Audigy 4
Maxtor 6L200M0 200GB Hard drive

I also have 1gb of RAM (2X512mb) which came with the computer (a year or so ago) but i am not sure what brand they are and if they'll work with a new motherboard

I am thinking of getting:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400

DFI Infinity 975 X/G

Thermaltake Soprano DX case

Now, questions time.
1. Are the motherboard and case okay?

2.Will the motherboard be compatible with everything?

3. Will i need a new PSU with the case?

4. Will that case work with everything?

5. Is there anything really obvious im missing?

6. Will this be okay to update things in a year or so?

This is my first time building a PC so i may be missing somethings.

Please say if their is a better case or motherboard for roughly the same price.
