Ok.. cache is part of the processor, its going to be on it no matter what, and it will be a standard size. You cant get different sized cache on the same chip.

Ram are sticks of memory that are placed on the motherboard, and can vary in sizes. Easy to swap, and change. They give your computer the 'energy' it needs to run software.
