When i try to access Hotmail email through Firefox or Internet Explorer the computer comes up with a warning ---- BUFFER OVERRUN--- C++ RUNTIME ERROR!!!! then it closes down either Firefox or Internet explorer.. And i cant browse the internet until they have restarted. I have recently had spyware and malware problems but these, with this forums help seem to be sorted out now. Thank you very much Can anyone help me?? It occasionally comes up with this warning when i attempt other things too but usually when on internet.

I am having the same error when using Quicktime in Firefox.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but they fail due to this error.
It has also stopped me using iTunes.
Would love some help

I've managed to uninstall Quicktime by manually removing the file C:\Windows\System32\quicktime
Then a reinstall of Quicktime and iTunes proved to work with no error
This has also allowed Firefox to run as normal
