I'm currently building a system for a friend that only wants a solid machine for photo/photo editing, internet, burning dvd's and maybe the odd low end gaming.

The price point I was given for this is $300 - $450.

What would be some viable options for a solid comp?

Need a case, ps, mobo, ram, hdd, cpu. Purchasing windows 7 also has to be included in the price (doesn't leave much room for other stuff!)

If anyone knows of a good long lasting retail computer that might work too but I was preferring to build this and maybe get some better quality out of it.

Thanks!!
