I recently got set up with broadband using the voyager 2110 and i am connected using the ethernet cable and able to surf via it....however the wireless has not gone right at all... the laptop picks up the signal but everytime i try to connect via wireless it says the network assigned an invalid IP address so everytime i click on explorer the page can not be displayed and i cant go to any other page.... so please how do i get round this.... it has been suggested the router needs configured but i have no idea how to do this.

Thanks...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you certian that the wireless feature is enabled? You may also want to dig through the DHCP settings.
Yeah i am sure the wireless feature is enabled.... its gives the speed, and the signal strength is excellent but the status is still at limited or no connectivity. The problem seems to lie with the IP address it tries to connect with.... The modem is definitely available wirelessly and my laptop works in my friends house with their broadband. Im guessin the problem is definitely modem related. agh... this is killing me here... i want to be wirelss... help.
Disable all the encryption features to get connected, then enable encryption as a separate step.
thanks for that but i have absolutely no idea how to do that... any specific instructions would be of great help.
ok a little success here with disabling the encryption.... i am now wireless... how do i go about enabling it again as a separate step? what risk am i at surfing without it enabled? thanks a million for your advice so far!!
