I've successfully installed the Voyager 2100 wireless router and got 2 PC's on XP to connect via Edimax wireless dongles. But signal is sometimes too weak to connect so I tried installing the 1040. Software installed OK but after installing the hardware boot-up fails every time. Half way through the usual Microsoft Windows XP logo screens the monitor blacks out permanently.
Re-boots OK if I remove the card.
Any ideas - short of trying a different wireless card?

I've got the same problem with the my XP PC not booting with the card installed. Anyone got some ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem with installing the 1040 card. I mailed BT Tech support who suggested swopping the card out to another PC which worked but was running Windows2000. They also suggested I upgrade my BIOS but I am up to date. So back to the drawing board. However I will be sending a link to this forum to BT so hopefully someone at will take us seriously. My next move is to swop the card for a USB wireless card. Here's hoping.
