I have custum built PC. I bought it last summer. I had problems with Win7 Beta back then it restarted every 2h quite a problem. Then I installed XP no problems everything worked just fine. Few months ago I upgraded to Win7.
Everything worked fine for some time. Then I started to play games and it freezes and gives me BSoD. I thought that it might be because my system overheats but I never had such problems with XP. Never. With XP I didn't have any BSoDs or serious errors that I couldn't handle my self.

Today I converted video files and it crashed as well.

I really don't want to go back to XP. :normal:

Hi,

This does appear to be a hardware error. Because...

a) The STOP codes were mostly a mixture of 0x124 (Hardware) and 0x101 (CPU timeout) errors.

b) Your drivers appear up to date, and there is only one suspicious driver - AsIO.sys
Code:
[font=lucida console]
AsIO.sys     Mon Aug 03 19:02:32 2009 (4A768B88)
[/font]
This driver is part of several ASUS Overclocking/Hardware monitoring programs and it has been known to cause BSODs before. You should uninstall any ASUS programs that fit that description.

c) Your event logs have many events like this one:
Code:
[font=lucida console]Event[9737]:
  Log Name: System
  Source: Microsoft-Windows-WHEA-Logger
  Date: 2010-06-29T13:23:32.446
  Event ID: 18
  Description:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: [B][COLOR=Blue]Processor Core[/COLOR][/B]
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: [B][COLOR=Red]Internal Timer Error[/COLOR][/B]
Processor ID: 4[/font]
Aurors said:
BIOS show me only Voltage and Temperature of CPU: 1.136 V and 60°C .
Voltage of my system is controled by EPU-6 Engine.
I just noticed the above sentence. That could explain all your BSODs, especially with the types of errors that you are getting. Also, the EPU-6 Engine does use the ASIO.sys driver.

So, undo any overclocking that you have done, uninstall EPU-6 and see how it goes.

Regards,
Reventon

PSU is the cheapest part in my PC but it hadn't caused any problems and dust doesn't cause BSoDs. I will clean out the dust later.
Anyway I tried to unistall EPU-6 and I got this nice message from Windows:

Don't you love these errors? They make your life so vivid!

Once we eliminate the EPU-6 Engine if the problem still occurs the next step is to replace your PSU because it is "the cheapest part" and it is very low quality.

Dust causes overheating (which your CPU is doing), and that can cause BSODs.

Get rid of EPU-6 using REVO uninstaller.
