Hi, I'm pretty new here, as this is my first post. I think this forum is awesome and deserves more recognition than it already has. :pray:

Here's the problem I've been having with my computer. Before I proceed, I'd like to add some main stats about it:

Dell Dimension 8300
512MB RAM
2.8 Ghz
Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 / Service Pack 2
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
----

Ever since my uncle got Verizon FiOS installed in our building (I share my connection with him), my computer has been BSOD-ing (is that a word?), and it's too fast for me to actually see what the problem is (numbers and such). I even tried disabling the Automatic Restart option.

However, after my computer restarts from the BSOD, I get the window that says 'Computer has recovered from serious error.' I checked the error report and here they are:

As you can see, there seems to be a common factor in all of them: they have to do with the sysdata.xml and minidump.

Before coming on this forum, I tried searching on Google and tried some solutions, such as deleting the Minidump folder in WINDOWS and changing the virtual memory (to no success).

When I sent the error report to Windows, this is the link they give me: http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/...SGD=e0b1f2a5-aabc-46e5-8ced-d5b74de8b63f#here
---

As you can see from the link, it has to do with a driver problem. I checked all my drivers and after seeing that some were disabled, I re-enabled them and everything seemed to be going fine. I even updated some drivers (especially the NVIDIA driver).

The BSODs seem to happen whenever I'm visiting forums that I frequent. I still don't know what the problem is.

I've had this computer since 2002/2003 or so, and have somehow lost my copy of the Windows XP installation CD (I was thinking of doing a complete reformat).

Does anybody have a surefire way to fix this BSOD-ing? I would really appreciate it, and will follow up on this thread quite often. I'll post .zip files and anything of the like.

Thanks so much.

Hey again!

So I was scrolling around this forum (holy hell, does it have a lot of info, lol), and I found this thread that talked about BSODs:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/f10/bsod-during-online-play-got-dumps-366284.html

I read this post from Dracia and followed what it said, installed Windows Debugger, etc:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/2080300-post18.html

=====

I used "analyze -v" as Dracia said, and found this:

Unable to load image wg121nd5.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for wg121nd5.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for wg121nd5.sys
Probably caused by : wg121nd5.sys ( wg121nd5+182bd )
The WG121 is my NETGEAR WG121 adapter that is basically my internet router.

====

Next, I did the whole analysis with "analyze -v;r;kv;lmtn" and found this:

Couldn't resolve error at 'nalyze -v'
kd> analyze -v;r;kv;lmtn

Could somebody help explain this all to me?

Is the main problem my NETGEAR adapter? Should I uninstall / reinstall?

Thanks!
