I have a Dell Dimension 4700 desktop. As soon as the PC begins to boot to Windows XP (Home) I get the Blue Screen Of Death with the following error message:
Stop: 0x00000024
Research seemed to indicate that there may be a Hard Drive defect, but I ran "SeaTools for DOS" on the Seagate Hard Drive installed and all tests passed successfully. Although, I was able to boot to the SeaTools CD with no errors. I have replaced the RAM and the Graphics Card with no change as a result. I have also disconnected all other internal and external devices that are not neccessary to boot the PC and no change as a result.
The only parts remaining that I know of that could be the culprit would be the Motherboard and/or the CPU.
Any thoughts on what my problem could be?
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Dadof2
