Hi! This is my first post on this site, hope you guys can help me! I'm getting desperate. (I have attached dump rar file, and also a screencap of BlueScreenView)

I have been getting Blue screen of death's for a few months. I have used BlueScreenView and it is always related to this ntoskrnl.exe , with a bunch of different parameters like "+ee77bb" +f0297 , +75169. My laptop now keeps freezing up like when I'm watching a video or music it will just freeze and glitch and sound like its in robot slow-mo. It's like the processor just can't handle anything at all.

I have looked a tonne on the internet and tried doing these things;

-Updated every driver in Device Manager;
-Done ChkDSk with "Attempted recovery of bad areas" or whatever it says.
-Avira Full system scans.
-I have done cmd + sfc /scannow , a few times now, and it repaired a few things but the glitchiness and slowness remains. I have the CBS log from the scan but I can't upload it to here for some reason.

I would do a system restore except my restore points don't go back far enough, I didn't know in Windows 7 you had to set aside space for that, definitely going to keep heaps of space there for that after this is fixed haha!

These problems seemed to start occurring after installing PDANet network drivers (For using phone as hotspot) or after HotSpot Shield VPN or something. Not certain on that one though, I have uninstalled all of those and it didn't solve the problem or make it better. However when I open HSS VPN my computer slows down significantly.

Hope someone can figure this out for me because I'm at the end of my technological wits haha, thanks! Have a nice day

Hi. . .

ntoskrnl.exe is the Windows NT Kernel and is merely listed as a default. It is not the cause.

One of the VERIFIER_ENABLED dumps listed Avira - remove it for now -

Uninstallers (removal tools) for common Windows antivirus software—ESET Knowledgebase

The other three 2016 dumps had varying bugchecks - different STOP error codes, which usually means the cause is unknown hardware failure.

Hey thanks for your help JCGriff2, sorry for the slow response. That sped my computer back up to almost normal speed, thanks alot! I am still having BSOD's, but now they have changed to IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL type. I will make another thread to try to solve that, thanks for your help so far though.

BSOD - ntoskrnl.exe IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hey guys
I was recently having BSOD Problems and a super glitchy problem until I received help on this forum and deleted my Avira antivirus, which sped my computer up back to normal. Now im having BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL problems.
Any help with this would be appreciated, I have attached a dump file rar. How do you read through those to identify the problem by the way? Would like to know how to do this myself if possible

Thanks alot :)

Hi. . .

I merged your threads together since we're dealing with the same system.

The 4 new dumps gave us new bugchecks (STOP error codes) to deal with + "probable cause" listed as Microsoft drivers, which simply cannot be.

I also see that you ran Driver Verifier. No 3rd party driver was named in the VERIFIER_ENABLED dumps - a sure sign that there is some type of hardware failure occurring.

I don't know much about hardware. I sit on the software side of the fence.

All I can do is give you some hardware diagnostic tests to run.

You also need to look at the motherboard, PSU, and all other hardware parts as any of them may be involved.

Regards. . .
