Intel Core2Duo 2.93 GHz CPU
Gigabyte G41 Combo MoBo
Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB Seagate SATA HDD

I'll post a screenshot of the BSOD

Please can someone help what should I do to avoid this BSOD.

Thanks in advance.

Download the ISO image for memtest and burn the ISO with IMGBurn to a CD. boot off of the newly created CD with one stick of RAM in at a time. and run the tests. If you see red that stick is bad.
But I have a single 2GB RAM installed on my system.

OK so run the tests
Ok will run this test and revert back.....Thanks for reply.
Ok so I ran the memtest overnight & it showed some 17000+ errors. What should I do next??
Hi

Put the memory in another slot and then run the test again.
If Memtest shows more errors you will have to replace the memory.
Ok will run test with memory in another slot & then revert back. Thanks.
