Hello,
So I have an issue with the dreadful Blue Screen Of Death on my wonderful laptop and would very much like some help with fixing it or at least finding the root of my problem. I am pretty much willing to do anything to save my laptop (save, spending enough money to get a new one...).
The problem is this happened twice, once on I believe Saturday (April 2nd) and then again on Monday. Basically my laptop randomly got very laggy and began to take forever to do anything that normally it does instantly (like scrolling up and down on the Facebook home page). Next thing I knew, I saw a Physical Memory dump screen (which I later learned is indeed, the dreaded BSOD). As of now it's fine and it has no issues but I'm very concerned. I'm scared that if I start up anything more complicated than a few tabs on Google Chrome my laptop will kill itself.
So here are the specs:
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium , 64 bit
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-84, AMD64 Family 17 Model 3 Stepping 1
Processor Count: 2
RAM: 3838 Mb
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics , 256 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 464838 MB, Free - 189656 MB;
Motherboard: Acer , JM70PU , Rev , LXPCF0208194208F822000
Antivirus: Norton 360, Updated and Enabled
And questions I could answer:
· What was original installed OS on system? Yes, as far as I know.
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? It was included in the purchase, I am not sure if it was pre-installed or if the retailer installed it specifically for this laptop.
· Age of system (hardware) About a year and a half. I got in it December 2010.
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Nope.
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 7535-5415.
I appreciate any help, thank you!
