So once in a while I get a BSOD. Mostly when I play a game and sometimes when I listen music.
Some info about my pc:

OS: windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz
RAM: 8gb
Video card: GeForce GTX 460
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 iP55, SATA2 RAID, USB3.0
HX650W 650W, Modulair

I hope someone can help me

NOTE: Please provide the following information for a more detailed response: http://www.techsupportforum.com/for...-instructions-windows-7-and-vista-452654.html

While waiting for a reply:

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests (located at this link: Hardware Diagnostics ). They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
Hard Drive Diagnostics (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources - Bootable Disks

You have a USB wireless device - Win7 doesn't like these devices, especially when coupled with older drivers
Sitecom draadloze USB-netwerkadapter 54g WL-113v1.002
Here's my rant on these devices:
I do not recommend using wireless USB devices. Especially in Win7 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 - and using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.
Please remove the drivers for the wireless USB device and then physically remove the device from the system. If that stops the BSOD's, then you'll know where the problem comes from.

Please also uninstall MagicISO as the driver dates from 2009.

If it doesn't stop the BSOD's, then try the free diagnostics on this page: Hardware Diags

Good luck!

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

I'm realy thankfull for your help usasma
But I'm realy surprised the wireless usb is the problem. I'm only using a wireless usb for my mouse and keyboard. I was thinking my graphic card caused the BSOD, because I actually only get the BSOD when I'm playing the game 'RIFT'. Do you have any idea why I only get it when I play RIFT? I get a maximum temperature of 60 degrees so it's not overheating.

And where can I find the drivers for the wireless usb (my mouse and keyboard) so I can delete them and test if they cause the problem.

Oh and I delete magicISO but still got several BSOD when I played RIFT for a few minutes :(

Thanks in advance

I think I found the problem. Since I've updated my bios I haven't got any BSOD :) I thought I was already using the latest version, but I found a program by gigabyte which downloaded the right one.

This is not true :(

A few hours after I posted this I started to get BSOD's again the first time in 2 weeks. I've found no hardware failures.
Is there anything else what may cause the BSOD?

All STOP 0x124 errors - this is either a hardware failure or a problem with older drivers. Check for updated versions of these drivers:
- Marvell SATA controller
- ESET/NOD32 software
- MagicISO software
- Netgear GA511 Driver file (Realtek chipset) - you've really got to get rid of this software
- Remove this software also: Sitecom draadloze USB-netwerkadapter 54g WL-113v1.002

If that doesn't fix it, then it's these 2 links:
- Hardware Diags
- Hardware Troubleshooting Via System Stripdown

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

I've reinstalled all drivers I need, so everything must be up to date.
I removed netgear GA511 and magicISO completly.
I've tested my RAM and HDD again but I did not found any failures.
The only problem I've found is that I can't use internet with cable (the cable is working on another pc.)
'Sitecom draadloze USB-netwerkadapter 54g WL-113v1.002' is my wireless internet incase you didn't know, so I can't remove this driver :/
I'm getting my doubts about my motherboard now, is there any way I can test it? Or do you have any other idea what may cause the BSOD?

There aren't any motherboard testers. We rule out everything else that we can before we decide on replacing the motherboard.

Wireless internet won't do you any good if it's the cause of your BSOD's. If you can't use the cable, then there's some sort of problem with your networking.

Follow the links for hardware diagnostics and system stripdown to rule out all the other parts - once that's done, then it's reasonable to suspect the mobo.

It's getting even worse now. When I start my computer I can do stuff for around 5min and than randomly all programs freezes and when I try to close them it says they are not working. Then after some minutes I get a BSOD or I have to press the restart button.

I'm realy done with this **** so I think it's better if I just buy a new motherboard and see if it will fix the problem.
