Hello the only thing i can give you on my computer is that its

i have a

adata ddr3 ram
700 watt power supply
CoolerMaster HAF 922 Gaming Case - Black
AMD Athlon™ II X2 260 Dual-Core CPU
ASUS M4A87T -- AMD 870
Liquid CPU Cooling System
24X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black
1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 16M Cache, 7200 RPM, 3.0Gb/s - Single Drive

well i was trying to put windows vista on my computer instead of windows 7 64 bit because i could use certain programs but my cd was messed up so it never finish now where i went wrong is i didnt format again when i put windows back up there the next day im getting the blue screen saying STOP: c00021a Fatal System Error

so i was trying to format the whole hard drive in freedos and it didnt get rid of nothing but when i restarted it logged in hen i cut it off and back on to put the dvd in and it starting show me the vista login way and cut off and i restarted and it went back to
STOP: c00021a Fatal System Error so what i need to know how do i delete this hard drive or get rid of the vista part

Now this is the most strangest thing i took that hard drive out to try to put windows 7 on a different hdd now i click on hit any key it does it load up and then it shows me the vista load logo and cuts off just like before now how is it even still doing that when the hdd is unplugged should i take the cmos out whats going on
Hi please explain what was on the other hdd you used
the only thing on there is movies and files never had an os on it
where would i go at on an asus
The bios key should be visible when you try to boot in the bottom left of the screen possibly F2
