Hey all.
im new to this forum so im not quite sure if this is the right place to post but anyway.

for like a week ago i got a new cpu Core 2 duo e7400 but ever since i changed it i get a BSOD when im playing games its telling me

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR__EQUAL

Stop: 0X000000D1 (0X0000003D, 0X0000000A, 0X00000000, 0X8B82A789)

And then something like

Dxgkrnl.sys Address 8B82A789 BASE AT 8B827000, DATASTAMP 46899FD6

I really dont know what to do

My com specs are:
4Gb ddr3 ram
Geforce 9800 gtx+
Core 2 duo e7400 2.8ghz
Mainboard: asrock P43R1600Twins-110dB
and a 750W powersupply
and 200gb Harddisk

Hope some of you guys can/will help me to fix this anoying problem. :smile:

What brand of power supply? What kind of temps are you having, cpu/
gpu? Are you turning the fan up on the vid card, or leaving it stock?
That error is a direct x error which is associated with the video card.

Its a Thermaltake ToughPower 750W powersupply.
my temps on cpu is about 40-45° while booting dont know about my gpu, any advice how to check it ?
my vid card fan is running on stock.

Download everest home edition, its free. You may also try speed fan.
Is the cpu temp at idle, if it is, that seems hot. Did you properly clean
and apply thermal compound? You can use riva tuner to ramp up
your fan on the gpu. Go into bios and find out what voltages and temps
you are running from there, post results..
