Well managed to come across this website thankfully so i hope someone can help... Been getting BSOD for about 2-3 months now it only ever seems to be when playing battlefield 3 and its not often its like one a month maybe not even that, im not a super tech on computers barely know anything so if you could just try to keep it simple would be much appreciated.
Gonna write my system specs just incase you need them.

GTX 295 @ 285.62 Drivers
P5P43TD
4gb Corsair 1333mhz
Q8300 2.5GHZ.

Recently overclocked my processor too 3.2 put coretemp on and my temps maximum and was 61 and i done a stress test at 100% load and wasnt going past 61 so i know it wasnt overheating maybe i done it wrong and done a bad overclock but then didnt think it would even boot?
Am thinking its to do with bad RAM :banghead:

Anyway any advice would be much appreciated

Cannot edit again i just see another forum with a BSOD and someone told them to run all these tests which ive done.

Malware Test - No Threats
Memory Test - Nothing wrong
HDD Test (samsung) - Nothing wrong
Video Memory Stress Test - No errors

Currently doing a IBT Cpu stress tester will report back on results off that.

I also forgot to mention have Antec 900 case and only recently cleaned it all out (2 days ago) Sorry for all the posts, just cannot edit after a certain amount off time im guessing?

Ok Just done a cpu test i downclocked my cpu down to 3hz not 3.2. now.

I passed the cpu test (IBT) under the high setting (2048mb)
These are the results dont make any sense to me but may to someone else with more knowlege?

Time (s) Speed (GFlops) Result
106.464 24.8211 3.349596e-002
109.043 24.2340 3.349596e-002
105.014 25.1638 3.349596e-002
105.044 25.1566 3.349596e-002
109.471 24.1391 3.349596e-002
111.363 23.7292 3.349596e-002
109.907 24.0434 3.349596e-002
112.306 23.5299 3.349596e-002
115.132 22.9524 3.349596e-002
110.831 23.8430 3.349596e-002

Also have another problem just noticed my DRAM freq is running at 400.4 @ ddr3 which is 1201.2, Can anyone help to do with this as it should be 1333 or isit normal to loose that much mhz for a overclock?

Gpu stress test result (furmark)
I noticed my gfx card makes some high pitch screetching sound while running this test it doesnt sound right and it lowers and highers the pitch when the furry thing is spinning around is this normal or isit just a loose bearing maybe on the fan so just making a high pitch noise maybe the fans broke because its overheating so maybe thats whats causing my BSOD i was getting 95 degree temperatures after about 3-4 minutes off running the test. I have six fans on my pc so i dont see why its overheating. Could someone just comfirm if thats the problem off my BSOD.

Please stop overclocking while we're troubleshooting. The overclocking interferes with the testing, and it may conceal damage that's already been done. Feel free to resume overclocking after we've finished stabilizing the system.

You can't edit after 15 or 20 minutes - so just make another post.

Running the last 3 memory dumps....

95ºC temps along with a screeching fan says "trouble" to me. I'd suspect the fan and maybe the cooler on your graphics card. Please check the following:
- that the graphics card fan turns freely
- that the power plug to the graphics card is firmly seated (if so equipped)
- that the graphics card cooler is clean and free of clogs
- that there's plenty of airflow around the graphics card.

The WER section of MSINFO32 seems to point at 2 separate problems:
- your network adapter driver (L1E62x64.sys) with a STOP 0xD1 Available from the motherboard manufacturer here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P5P43TD Just enter your OS info and select the LAN section (DON'T use the BETA version)
- your video card driver (nvlddmkm.sys) with a STOP 0x117 Update this driver from the nVidia website. If you already have the latest drivers - uninstall them and install a fresh copy.

Also, use this troubleshooting guide for STOP 0x116 errors (STOP 0x117 is very similar and we use the same procedures): http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Daemon Tools is known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems. If the above steps don't fix your issues, please uninstall Daemon Tools and use this free tool to ensure that sptd.sys is removed from your system: DuplexSecure - FAQ

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known causes of BSOD's in WIn7 systems. Please uninstall it immediately.

Your AsIO.sys driver dates from 2007, please update this from the Asus website.
Driver Reference Table
Most likely it belongs to the PCProbe utility.

TuneUp Utilities has seen BSOD complaints recently. Keep this in mind in case we need to do more to stop the BSOD's.

Right have done most off the things apart from updating the bios because i quite simply dont know how to.
I only just recently about 5 days ago blew my hole system out and rewired it all and done some cable management so there is good airflow around the card and my card idols around 55-57 which i see is normal for this card so it isnt overheating.

PCProbe is the 4 item down in the Utilities section
ASUS PC ProbeII V1.04.72 Install Program for Windows 32/64bit XP & 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit Windows 7.
BTW - my brain is working slow today. I just noticed that this is a P5 series mobo. Here's some notes that I've gathered about them:
FWIW - I've seen a lot of issues with the Asus P5 series of boards. I usually recommend this:
- DO NOT use the AUTO setting for memory. Go to the RAM manufacturer's website and get the recommended settings for the RAM. Then set those settings manually in the BIOS
- one person with a 2009 BIOS has experienced success by updating the BIOS. This is dangerous and one simple mistake can easily damage your motherboard so it won't work. Be VERY, VERY CAREFUL!!!
- one person reports bad caps ( http://http://www.badcaps.net/pages.php?vid=5 ) in this post: http://www.techsupportforum.com/for...cant-load-windows-7-a-606751.html#post3476936
Since the BIOS updates fix issues with PCProbe and with memory things. I'd suggest updating the BIOS if you continue to have problems. BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL!!! Making a mistake while flashing the BIOS can physically damage your motherboard!

If you choose to do it, follow the directions to use the tool in the BIOS Utilities section - and update to the latest available version under the BIOS section.

Good luck!

Hi is this what you did
EZ Flash 2
Simply update BIOS from a USB flash disk before entering the OS
EZ Flash 2 is a user-friendly BIOS update utility. Simply launch this tool and update BIOS from a USB flash disk before entering the OS. You can update your BIOS only in a few clicks without preparing an additional floppy diskette or using an OS-based flash utility.
