For some reason I cannot get any application to maximize "full screen". When it is maximized it won't cover the top inch of the screen. I still see the background in that inch. After rebooting I still cannot get anything to maximize fully.

This is causing a problem because I cannot get to my bottom horizontal scroll bar in Excel, Word, etc..

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

Hi

If you keep it non-maximized and then click-drag the double arrow heads produced at every corner of the application window... can you maximize this way?

Ok. In your start menu, navigate to the application, right-click it and then choose properties.

Have the "Run in" option under shortcut set to "normal window" or even maximized.

Does it work now?
