Hello,

I have a compaq presario V5000 with Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN installed. I recently tried to set up Wireless connection and "No Wireless Networks are available". My roommate has no problem connecting to the Wireless Network so I don't think its a problem with the router/modem. Also, I am unable to detect ANY networks (neighbors etc.).

I have installed most recent driver (Driver 5.60.350.6) with no luck.

Here is some more info:

ISP: Verizon
Use Windows XP
Router: NETGEAR

Xirrus is showing four networks close . . is yours Netgear74? None of those show when you search for networks?

Do you have physical access to the router?

Has this pc ever been able to connect ot a wireless network?

Thanks for quick reply. Yes, no networks show up in my Wireless Network list. I had no problem connecting via wifi until now. Have not tried for about 3 months (due to move) but wireless worked liked a dream at my last local.

Also my router is the Netgear 74.
