Hello,

I am not very good with computers, i did my research and didnt find anything to be wrong with the specs, so i need your help guys;

as the title says, i bought a new computer, and after a week or so of it working well, the graphic card suddenly stopped working. I contacted the store and they replaced the card with a brand new one, but it just died again, so i wonder, if its the hardware that doesnt go with eachother or is it just a coincidence and i keep getting bad cards? im linking the specs of the computer below:

power: Silentpower LC6650GP3-650W V2.3
case: Midi THERMALTAKE V3 Black Edition
RAM : DDR3-RAM KIT 8 GB, 1600 MHz, CL9, CORSAIR Vengeance Low Profile
Mainboard S-1155 ASUS P8H77-M LE, Micro-ATX
Procesor INTEL Core i5 - 3570K, 3,40GHz, LGA1155, Quad-Core, Boxed
DVD-+R/-+RW SATA LITEON iHAS124, bulk
Graphic card: PCI-E 3.0 POINT OF VIEW GeForce GTX660, Retail, 2048MB
(had my old HDD, but dont know if thats even relevant)

when i start the computer with the graphic card active, there are green stripes everywhere, and the windows wont start, it starts loading, then monitor enters power safe mode and resets.

P.S. i had the latest graphic drivers so that shouldnt be the problem

Hello,

Was this PC assembled by the shop that you purchased it from?

I would suggest taking the PC back to the shop and have then test and repair or

get another PC.

It is also possible that the Power Supply being used is causing your problems.

As noted above, return it to the place of purchase.
LC Power PSU's (yours is made by Great Wall) are about as low quality as they come and would be a prime suspect for the GPU failures.
I would insist on a good quality 550W minimum replacement.
