I've been using antivir and I tried the programs suggested but there are no errors or bad programs to be found.

You really need to talk to us about the brand name and wattage of your power supply as suggested by cjessee.

Also, list the amps per rail (listed on the side of the power supply) on the unit.

If you use the disk manufacturer's utility and repartition and format and it still says the drive is bad. Then you need to pitch it. Here is a link for those utilities:
