After I installed vista and deleted windows xp I get a message that says "bootmgr missing". The bootmanager was problibly on the disc where xp was installed. How can I get rid of this and let vista boot properly? I only have vista installed so i dont need any bootmanager.

boot from the vista disk and choose install.on the bottom left of the install screen, you will see the repair option listed
click on it
Already tried that. doesnt help
you either have reinstall or copy the boot manager files in
to copy them in you need to know which ones you need and where to place them
i suppied the files before to a poster but he knew where to tell me to find them and which ones he wanted and where he had to place them
