I built a Core 2 Quad machine and have been running Vista Home Premium on a small hd. Before installing the W7 upgrade I decided to use a WD 640 gb drive. While installing Vista (so I could install the upgrade) on the new HD the program froze. After about two hours of hoping it would unfreeze, I rebooted the computer. I now get the message "bootmgr missing press control alt delete to restart. This, of course, did nothing. I replaced the old, small hd, which still works. Is there any way to salvage the new drive? The computer simply will not boot with it hooked up, even with the old, bootable drive hooked up as well.
